  • I WILL NOT support a property or income tax increase for Kettering residents who already are feeling large tax burdens. Instead,  I will make the decision to focus on critical City services and growing the tax base through business development.

  • Protect our youth by expanding Kettering Police school resource officer program.

  • Support policies protecting Kettering police officers.

  • Support the implementation of a preemption system throughout Kettering giving emergency vehicles a green light by communicating with traffic signals, clearing traffic ahead of their arrival to improve safety and reduce response times.

  • Expand and support a more robust Neighborhood Watch Programs throughout the city.

  • Ensure public safety and crime fighting are a top priority.

Support, Foster
& Expand Kettering Business Growth

  • Re-establish the Kettering Chamber of Commerce for the support of Kettering business.

  • Keep Kettering jobs & small business by promoting opportunities of local programs such as the Wilmington Pike Plan and the Kettering Development Corporation.

  • Provide economic incentives for small business retention and creation.

  • Build awareness and utilization of business loans for capital access for new and existing Kettering businesses.

  • Push for city to implement a proactive and business-friendly approach in order to be best in class for the region.

  • Create a Kettering business portal within the City in order to streamline processes for businesses to open fast and efficiently.

Put Kettering Residents & Businesses First

  • Push a city culture focused on performance for resident “customers” and business.

  • Create an anonymous City Hotline for residents to voice their concerns on crime, property, snow and leaf removal, trash, and more with a requirement to respond within one business day.

  • Create Kettering citizen and business groups for feedback on City initiatives concerns and needs.

  • I won’t make backroom decisions or hide. I’ll hold regular open forums and respond directly to citizen and business owners concerns. Kettering deserves a Mayor who listens, leads, and communicates clearly.

Make Your Neighborhood
a Priority

  • Create expanded volunteer base and program "Property Angels" to assist seniors and others in home maintenance issues.

  • Implement an aggressive enforcement of property maintenance throughout Kettering.

  • Support nuisance abatements and city actions to ensure properties are maintained to neighborhood standards.

  • Hold landlords of rental properties accountable if their property is not to neighborhood standards.

  • Develop City incentives for improving troubled properties to safeguard your property values.

Tackle Real Community Issues in Kettering

  • Address the rising homelessness issue in the City by connecting resources and tackling the “why.”

  • Explore public - private partnership in the management of the Fraze Pavillon in order to bring the entertainment venue back into earning positive revenue for the city, bringing popular acts, and being competitive in the region again.

  • Explore a real solution for the struggling Kettering Ice Arena at the Kettering Rec Center, such as partnering with professional ice management and/or professional ice sports team.

  • Hold regular online and in person Townhall forums with Kettering citizens and business owners for input during convenient hours and days for them.
